AMERICAN IDOL CONTEST
Once the Top 12 begin performing, you cast a vote each week to predict who will get voted off the show, and who will be in the bottom three (until they get down to the Top 6). You will also vote for who you think will be in the Top 4 and who will be the American Idol winner. Once they get down to the Top 6 you will vote again who you think will be the 2 finalists and who will be the American Idol winner. You will also continue to vote for who you think will get voted each week until the finale. March 10th (Tuesday) – Top 12 finalists begin performing. (7:00 CST on FOX) March 11th (Wednesday) – Results show from the night before to see who is voted off. (7:00 on FOX) This would be the day your first vote would need to be submitted by 5:00 CST. You can e-mail your votes to: idol@warfordorthodontics.com On this day you will vote for: • The idol you think will be the American Idol winner – (10 points) • The 4 idols you think will be in the Top 4 – (5 points each) • Who you think will make it in the Top 6 – (6 points if all correct, 0.5 points for each correctly identified contestant) • The idol you think will get voted off – (1 point) • The 3 idols you think will be in the bottom 3 – (5 points total if all correct, 0.5 points for each correctly identified contestant, but not eliminated) After this first vote, each week you will continue to vote for the idol you think will get voted off and the 3 idols you think will be in the bottom 3 (until they get down to the Top 6). April 21st (Tuesday) – Top 6 finalists April 22nd (Wednesday) – Results show from the night before to see who is voted off. On this day you will vote for: • The idol you think will be the American Idol winner – (5 points) • The 2 idols you think will be the Top 2 – (2.5 points each) • The idol you think will get voted off – (1 point) After this vote, you will continue to vote each week for which idol you think will get voted off until the finale. Each week your votes will need to be emailed to idol@warfordorthodontics.com by 5:00 CST on the day of the results show (typically Wednesdays). There will be an e-mail sent out to you on Tuesday to remind you to watch the performance show so you can submit your votes. Any votes that come in after the deadline will not receive points. On Thursday after the Wednesday night result show, the results and points received will be posted on the Warford Orthodontics website at www.warfordorthodontics.com The person at the end of the season with the most points will win an Apple iPod Touch! Points Guideline: • Correct weekly vote for the idol that gets voted off the show – 1 point • Correct weekly vote for the idol that gets into the bottom 3, but isn’t eliminated – 0.5 points (only until they get down to the Top 6) • Correctly identify the bottom 3 each week – 5 points total • Correct vote for the American Idol winner (from the Top 12 vote) – 10 points • Correct vote for the contestants that make it into the Top 4 (from the Top 12 vote) – 5 points each • Correctly identify the Top 6 (from the Top 12 vote) – 6 points if all correct, 0.5 points for each correctly identified contestant • Correct vote for the American Idol winner (from the Top 6 vote) – 5 points • Correct vote for the Top 2 finalists (from the Top 6 vote) – 2.5 points each
