The VIVA! Cinco de Mayo organizing committee would like to extend an invitation to
you and your organization to have a Food Booth/Arts & Craft Booth at the 2009
VIVA! Cinco de Mayo celebration, which will be held May 1-2, 2009.

Please return the attached application with the applicable fee to VIVA! Cinco de Mayo;
c/o Food Booth/Arts & Crafts Committee; P.O. Box 953; San Marcos, TX 78667-
0953. Please make CASHIERS CHECK or MONEY ORDER payable to the following
(NO PERSONAL CHECKS) VIVA! Cinco de Mayo.

FOOD BOOTH FEES (Please Check One)

     FOOD BOOTH FEE for May2-3, 2009 (2 days): $275.00 non-refundable.

1.  No open flame of any kind, even if it’s enclosed; No butane tanks.
2.  Cooking area for pits and open flame will be outside building.
3.  No beverages of any kind; Except coffee.
4.  Please put grease in container and not on the ground.
5.  You must build your own booth. Space is limited to 10’ X 10’ area, and they will be located
    inside the Annex Building.
6. Food Booths will open at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 a.m. on Saturday.
7. Please bring your own tables and chairs (They will not be provided).
8. Electrical: 2-110 plugs will be provided. Any additional electrical power will be at vendor’s
    expense. First come first serve on 220 plugs indoors.
9. All food booths must be taken down by 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 3, 2009. Any booths left
    remaining will be thrown away (No exceptions).
10. There are no exclusives on any food items being sold.
11. No beer may be brought in by Food Booth vendors. Any beer discovered will be confiscated and
    become the property of VIVA! Cinco de Mayo. We appreciate your cooperation and
    participation and ask that you support our concessions and help us in providing our future
    leaders with a quality education.

     ARTS & CRAFTS FEE for May1-2, 2009 (2 days): $150.00 non-refundable.

** Please Note: **

Many activities are free. Each Food Booth/Arts & Craft vendor will be given one (1) Temporary
Pass to enter the fenced area to pick up and deliver items needed to maintain their booths. Vehicles
shall not stay within the fenced area in excess of 15 minutes. The Temporary Pass must be displayed
at ALL times. Any vehicle found without a valid pass or parked in excess of 15 minutes will be towed
at the owner’s expense. There will be no passes provided for any of the dances. All vendors must
bring all money for change. No exceptions.

The 2009 VIVA! Cinco de Mayo Committee shall not be responsible and/or held liable for the
property of exhibitors from theft, damage by fire, water, accidents and/or other causes of injuries. It
is hereby understood and agreed that the above organization, business, corporation, and/or
individual(s) shall not hold the officers, members, agents, volunteers and/or employees of VIVA!
Cinco de Mayo, LULAC Council 654, City of San Marcos, Hays County and/or Sponsors of the event
responsible for any and all liability, suit, destruction, injury, and/or claims caused by them, their
volunteers and/or to volunteers. By signing this application, I agree to abide by all rules, and safety
regulations.
