SEC. 105. ENHANCING ENERGY EFFICIENCY IN MANAGEMENT OF FEDERAL LANDS.
(a) SENSE
OF THE
CONGRESS.—It is the sense of
4 Congress that Federal land managing agencies should en5 hance the use of energy efficient technologies in the man6 agement of natural resources. 7 (b) ENERGY EFFICIENT BUILDINGS.—To the extent
8 practicable, the Secretary of the Interior and the Secretary 9 of Agriculture shall seek to incorporate energy efficient 10 technologies in public and administrative buildings associ11 ated with management of the National Park System, Na12 tional Wildlife Refuge System, National Forest System, 13 and other public lands and resources managed by such 14 Secretaries. 15 (c) ENERGY EFFICIENT VEHICLES.—To the extent
16 practicable, the Secretary of the Interior and the Secretary

17 of Agriculture shall seek to use energy efficient motor ve18 hicles, including vehicles equipped with biodiesel or hybrid 19 engine technologies, in the management of the National 20 Park System, National Wildlife Refuge System, and other 21 public lands and managed by the Secretaries.
