Two For the Ages - Our 2006 Award Winners Help Make a Difference
The remarkable success of THE TOUR Championship presented by Coca-Cola is the result of hard work,
attention to details and world-class commitment to excellence. Of course, it doesn’t hurt to have the best
golfers on the PGA TOUR. However, without extraordinary volunteer dedication and leadership, this special
event would not be nearly as succesful.
Mark Wellden, the 2006 Billy Payne Volunteer of the Year Award recipient, and Danny Royal, 2006 Tom
Cousins Leadership Award winner, exemplify selfless service with a smile. Both awards were presented at
the 2007 Volunteer Party on September 9. To these wonderful volunteers, no task is too challenging. They
lead by example.

East Lake Painting With a Purpose
Tips from the Top
Golf Etiquette with Chad Parker
Greetings, Volunteers. Much of
what makes golf such a wonderful
sport is the fact that it demands that
golfers behave in consideration for

essence of “golf with a purpose.” Coca-Cola made prints of the painting which were
