Are you ready for Homecoming 2006?! “Only in your Dreams!” Homecoming Court Nominations/Voting  What: During the homecoming rally a prince and princess will be named from the freshmen, sophomore, and junior class. These students will represent your class in the parade and at the game. From the senior class three princes and princesses will be named and the Senior King and Queen will be crowned during halftime at the football game. Everyone votes for their own class and the senior class candidates. Please help choose students that you think deserve the recognition and will represent your class well. When: All Homecoming nominations take place in the quad at lunch the week of September 24-29th.  Voting for your SRVHS Homecoming Court Round 1 When: Round 1 Homecoming court elections with ALL nominated candidates will begin on October 3rd at noon and will end October 5th at 9PM. Voting can be done at home, or at school. If you do not have access to a computer come vote in R-9 at brunch, lunch, or after school. How:     Go to the website: eduballot3.votenet.com/srvhs Then log on using your student ID number as your user name. Note if an id number starts with 0 such as 003344, all leading zeros will be taken off, so the id number will be 3344. Next enter your password. Your password is your phone number including area code with no marks for example 9255523062. Select your class ballot and then vote for one prince and princess candidate, then select the senior class and vote for one king and queen candidate. Beginning on October 2nd float building will take place everyday after school from 3PM to 8PM at individual class sites. Float building will end on October 12th. If you want more information about the float building and for directions to the class construction sites come by R-9 and see Mrs. Willford! Homecoming Dress-ups  Monday 10/9 Dr. Seuss o  Ideas: Crazy hair, crazy hats, stripes and solids, think about characters like the Grinch, Cat in the Hat, the Fish, Thing 1 and 2, or the Who ! 10/10 Mt. Olympus o Ideas: Think Greek wear, be a Greek God and of course remember your togas!  10/11 Charley and the Chocolate Factory o Ideas: Think about characters like violet, cowboy, the Oompa Lompas, Willy Wonka, the golden egg, or wear bright colors, or candy themes. Ideas: Pirate dress, Peter Pan, the Lost Boys, Tinkerbell, the Indians, Crocodiles, Mermaids or wear child PJ’s!  10/12 Never Never Land o  10/13 Green and Gold/Class Homecoming shirts o All class homecoming shirts will be on sale at lunch in the quad October 9-12. All shirts are $10 and there are limited quantities first come first serve! Homecoming Lunchtime Activities Want to participate in homecoming activities at Lunch? Winners will receive a discount coupon for Homecoming Dance tickets! If you want to participate email jwillford@srvhs.org. Here are the lunchtime activities:     Monday 10/9: Round Robin Rhyming Game Tuesday 10/10: The Grape Grab Wednesday10/11: The Chocolate Challenge Thursday10/12: Walk the Plank (Peter Pan related trivia) Homecoming Rally Don’t miss the annual Homecoming Rally! Come show your class spirit on Friday October 13, at 1:35PM in the Large Gym. You won’t want to miss who is crowned Mr. and Mrs. San Ramon and the 2006 homecoming court, fall sport highlights, dance performances, and more! Homecoming Parade Information The Parade will begin at 2:45 on Friday October 13th, from the SRVHS Performing Arts Center and go throughout downtown Danville. The route will start at Danville Blvd. from the high school by the PAC and will proceed up Railroad Avenue takes a left on Prospect Ave. then a left on to Hartz, and will proceed back to the high school. Come see the class floats, SRVHS teams, the SRVHS award winning marching band, the alumni timeline, and more! Football Game and Halftime Show Come watch SRV Football beat Livermore at 7PM on Friday October 13 on the stadium field. Stick around for the annual Homecoming Halftime show. There will be special performances, and you will hear the results of the class float competition and see who is crowned King & Queen! Homecoming Dance The Homecoming Dance is Saturday October 14th from 7:30-10:30 p.m. in the Large Gym. Get your ticket early to guarantee your spot and save money! Gym capacity is limited so tickets will be sold first come first serve at lunch in the kiosk. No tickets will be sold at the door. Tickets will be sold on the following days at the following prices: Date Monday, October 9th Tuesday, October 10th Wednesday, October 11th Thursday, October 12th Friday, October 13th With ASB Card $14 $14 $14 $18 $18 A limited amount of tickets will be sold. First come first serve. Without ASB Card $16 $16 $16 $20 $20 Other Dance Information      The dance is semi-formal dress, this means nice but not Black Tie. YOU DON’T NEED A DATE TO GO. Professional pictures will be in the small gym from 6PM to 9PM. Doors close at 9:30 PM, students must have Student ID to enter! GUESTS-If your date is from another school, they need a guest pass! All guest passes can be obtained in the attendance office. You must have the pass complete when you buy the dance ticket.
