							                          HOW TO CREATE/SETUP A NETID
                                  
Example of Passwords            All WebCT users must have a NetID to log into WebCT. The
 
                                NetID is the same username and password used for the Online
Tiger09
                                Library System and the JSU open Labs. You must know your J-

                                Number in order to create a NetID. If you do not know your J-
t1ger09
tiger09!                        Number, contact the ID Center 601.979.2407.

                                Once you have your J-Number, you may use the following steps to
                                setup your NetID:
                                    
                            Step 1. If you do not have a NetID or have forgotten it, go to
RESET/CREATE YOUR NetID
                                   https://password.jsums.edu/accounts/Reset 
                             
                            Step 2. Enter your Jnumber as the Domain username (Domain name
ENTER YOUR J-NUMBER
                                   remains as Unity) and press continue. *Note: If you receive an
                                   error on this page contact NetID Support via one of the
                                   methods listed in step 6. 
                             
ANSWER 4 QUESTIONS THAT
                            Step 3. Answer the four questions about yourself and press continue.
IDENTIFY YOU.

                                   Support via one of the methods in step 6. 
                             
                            Step 4. Create and confirm a password that is at least seven
CREATE A PASSWORD
ENTER AND CONFIRM YOUR             characters long and similar to the one of the following
PASSWORD                           examples: 
                                     a. Tiger09
                                     b. tiger@09
                                     c. t1ger09
                                     d. tiger09!

ENTER THE VERIFICATION
                            Step 5. Enter the word verification code exactly as it appears.
