Appendix B Cost Proposal
The cost information requested herein is required to support the reasonableness of your proposal and is for internal PASSHE use only in the evaluation process. Please complete the pricing charts for a five-year contract period (See tab marked Pricing Charts). This portion of the proposal must be sealed separately from the remainder of the proposal. 1. What discounts, from the publishers list price, will be offered for the approval plan, firm orders, standing orders, and bibliographic forms? The Group Volume Discount should be based on PASSHE's estimated volume and not on individual library volume. Do you provide additional discounts for monies deposited on account against the approval plan, standing orders, or firm order shipments? If so, what are these? Note: PASSHE reserves the right to have any unspent balance returned at the end of the contract period or during the contract period, should the unspent balance be required for unanticipated financial needs. 2. Enumerate and describe in detail the shipping and handling charges for the approval plan, standing order, and firm order shipments. Do you ever add service charges to approval plans, standing orders or firm orders? Please explain. Enumerate and explain the charges and fees assessed for any and all computerized services for books, including access to your online system; direct electronic ordering; electronic or downloadable invoicing; fiscal and management reports; downloading of full MARC records; dust-jacket information, and/or table of contents data.
