About The Commission
The City of Raleigh’s Human Relations Commission, a 14-member body composed of citizens appointed by the Raleigh City Council, serves as an advisor to the Council with respect to human services and human rights. The Commission is dedicated to promoting human dignity, equal opportunity, tolerance and harmony among all citizens of Raleigh. The Human Relations Commission typically meets on the second Thursday of each month at 6 p.m. in the City of Raleigh, Municipal Building, 222 West Hargett Street, Raleigh, NC.
