      On backpacking trips, our uniform will be the troop hat. Wear other comfortable clothes to hike in. No
      scout uniforms or jeans on the trail. You might want to bring a dry shirt to leave in the car for the ride
      home.

Remember, this list is a guide. Customize it to your needs.
You should also pack snack food and a couple of hot chocolates or coffee, if you want them. Watch weather
forecasts for the mountains and make changes to this guide as needed. Use this guide as you pack and check
off items as you pack them. There is no place to get anything once we hit the trail. Let's go have a fun, safe
