BAQ 2006 BEST PRACTICES EXHIBIT
A. About the Exhibit
1. The Better Air Quality Workshop (BAQ) 2006 provides an ideal forum for
participants to share and showcase air quality management success stories from
their respective cities and countries. Through exhibits, poster displays and one-
on-one interaction, the "Best Practices Exhibition" (BPE) will help cities and
communities highlight efforts to control or prevent urban air pollution.
2. BPE will include BAQ 2006 poster presentations, Art for Air entries, country
pavilions hosted by the CAI-Asia local networks and exhibit booths of non-profit
organizations and private firms, including the BAQ 2006 sponsors.
3. BPE will be an integral part of BAQ 2006 and will remain on display for the
duration of BAQ 2006 (13-15 December).
4. The BAQ 2006 Organizing Committee has decided to host all lunches, coffee
breaks as well some of the sessions in the BPE area to ensure adequate
interaction between workshop participants and exhibitors.
B. Joining the Exhibit
1. Interested exhibitors may request for an exhibit booth online at
http://www.cleanairnet.org/baq2006/1757/propertyvalue-26846.html and contact
the BPE coordinator, Aurora Ables aables@adb.org.
2. Exhibitors must accomplish the registration form before 29 October 2006. Final
list of exhibitors will be announced not later than 10 November 2006.
3. Clean Air Initiative for Asian Cities (CAI-Asia) members, BAQ 2006 supporting
organizations and BAQ 2006 pre-events organizers are entitled to a free
exhibition booth.
4. Other interested parties may set-up booths or posters depending on the
sponsorship package or through a special arrangement with the BAQ 2006
organizers. Sponsorship packages specifically for BPE sponsors are as follows.

5. Special exhibit arrangements other than booths and posters may be coordinated
by contacting Cornie Huizenga chuizenga@adb.org or Aurora Ables
aables@adb.org .
6. For exhibitors who plan to bring special equipment, the BAQ 2006 organizing
committee may assist in seeking customs clearance arrangements. Kindly send
an E-mail specifying the equipment and country of origin to Aurora Ables
aables@adb.org with a copy to Dora baq2006@menlh.go.id.
7. For exhibitors who plan to send promotional materials such as flyers, banners,
publications, etc. directly to the hotel, please have the materials arrive no sooner
than 4-7 days before BAQ 2006. Kindly check with the delivery service in your
area regarding the schedule as delivery time may vary from one week to one

C. Exhibit booths and posters
1. Standard booth features include partition walls, 1 table, 1 chair, and booth sign
(30 characters including spaces). Additional materials will be at cost price and
the details will be announced later.
2. Booth size depends on the sponsorship package but there are basically 3 sizes
of booths.
a. 3x3 m2 floor area – diamond sponsor
b. 3x2 m2 floor area – platinum sponsor; country sponsor; best practices
sponsor A; country pavilion booth c/o CAI-Asia local
network
c. 2x2 m2 floor area – gold sponsor; best practices sponsor B; standard BPE
booth
3. Each poster board is 2.5x1.0 m2.
4. Booths and posters will be mounted (ingress) on 12 Dec 2006 and will be taken
down (egress) on 15 Dec 2006 from 5-8 p.m. All exhibit materials and
paraphernalia left behind after the egress will be discarded.
