									Civil Service Title: Associate Staff Analyst Office Title: Business Analyst, (Associate Staff Analyst) Bureau: (HCA.9) Bureau of Primary Care Information Project Location: Manhattan JVN #: 816-09-128825 Salary Range: $57,246 to $85,239 (Full-time) Number of Positions: 1 Job Summary: The Primary Care Information Project (PCIP) is the largest project of its kind nationwide, focusing on extending prevention-oriented electronic health records (EHRs) to primary care providers in NYC. Our mission is to transform the quality of health care services in NYC, especially in medically underserved communities, by helping providers to move from a paper based to an electronic health care delivery system. To find out more about this cutting edge initiative, visit www.nyc.gov/pcip The Primary Care Information Project (PCIP) Taskforce is currently seeking a Business Analyst. As the Business Analyst, your duties will include: Research and analyze individual departmental requirements in order to generate management reports (i.e. forecasting, trending) using Excel and PCIP's internal customer relationship database. This would involve analyzing internal PCIP workflows and recommending and implementing solutions for better data collection and data sharing. - Analyze EHR utilization data, and use this information to develop and implement protocols to help practices use the EHR systems more effectively - Ensure that project documentation and inventory control processes are followed for the distribution of hardware, software and services to NYC health care providers. This would entail overseeing procurement, distribution, and installation by various partners. - Manage sub-contracts and consultants to ensure adherence to project requirements, timelines, and budgets. PREFERRED SKILLS: Solid Project Management skills Strong oral and written communication skills Strong analytical skills Proficient in Excel, database experience a plus Experience Required: 1. A Master's degree from an accredited college in economics, finance, accounting, business or public administration, human resources management, management science, operations research, organizational behavior, industrial psychology, statistics, personnel administration, labor relations, psychology, sociology, human resources development, political science, or a closely related field, and one (1) year of satisfactory full-time professional experience working with the

budget of a large public or private concern in budget administration, accounting, economic or financial administration or fiscal or economic research; or in management or methods analysis, operations research, organizational research or program evaluation; or in personnel or public administration, recruitment, position classification, personnel relations, employee benefits, staff development, employment program planning/administration, labor market research, economic planning, social services program planning/evaluation, fiscal management, or in a related area, or 2. A Baccalaureate degree from an accredited college and three (3) years of satisfactory full-time professional experience in the areas described in (1) above.
