you studied your words by your performance on your weekly test. Please have a
parent/guardian initial the boxes below one per night to indicate that you did something
to study your spelling AND vocabulary words.

Suggestions for studying your spelling words.
                Write your words 3x each (each time in a different color).
               Choose 10 spelling words and use each one in a sentence.
                             Write the words in ABC order.
                    Write a story that uses all of your spelling words.
           Make flashcards and review them with a friend or family member.
     Go to www.spellingcity.com and input your words to play fun games with them!
                              Take a practice spelling test.

Please study your vocabulary words each night. A parent/guardian should initial the
box above ONLY if you have studied both your spelling words and your vocabulary

Suggestions for studying vocabulary words:
             Look them up in the glossary and copy the word and definition.
      Look them up in a dictionary (a paper one or at www.dictionary.com) and write
                                 the word and definition.
                 Make up a sentence that makes sense using your word.
                     Write a story that uses your vocabulary words.
