Ohm’s Law Mind Map

We would now like you to organize all of the ideas behind

Ohm’s Law into a Mind Map.

A mind map is a visual tool used to help organize your own ideas about a

topic you just learned or are going to learn about. It can be used as a

brainstorming web, to brainstorm any ideas that you have understood and

that you think are important to the topic that you have studied. In a mind

map, we usually start with a main theme, like something that you just

learned. This theme is then connected to other major ideas that emerge from

the theme itself. These are ideas that YOU recall after you have learned

them and no one else. So your mind map is your own trademark and

comprehensible only to you. In other words, ask yourself what ideas you

think are your best explanations for the theme. Below is an example mind

map using Driving as a main theme. Main themes are usually written at the

center of your page and then connector lines are extended from there to

connect to major ideas. Major ideas are circled (or squared; you can use any

shape you like and any color you like). Each major idea represents a

specific connection to the main idea or theme. From each of these major

ideas, you can generate words phrases; sentences that help you recall the

information you learned. You can also represent your ideas using symbols,

cartoon drawings or whatever. So be creative while you write up your notes

in the form of a mind map. Once finished you can print it out and keep it

with you. Nice huh? Ok so what are you waiting for? Go ahead and mind

your maps!

Here is an example concept map using Driving as a main idea.
