Information about Brighton & Hove City Libraries Rare Books and Special Collections which
include works dating back to the thirteenth century.

Families' services pages
There is so much for families and children to enjoy at Brighton & Hove Libraries. From sharing
the joys of reading and opening up a world of learning and knowledge, libraries are a great way
for families to enjoy books and reading together.

Reading and writing groups
Adult reading groups take place at many of our city libraries. Find out more about what they
involve and how to join, and also how to set up your own reading group. Children can join
Chatterbooks reading groups. Adult writing groups are also available.

Using computers
Computers are available free for everyone to use at all City Libraries for up to one hour per day.
A library card enables you to access our online resources including Which? online and the
Oxford Reference Library.
