							                                      EU-China Summit
                                    Brussels, 6 October 2010

The thirteenth EU-China Summit will be held in Brussels on Wednesday 6 October 2010 in the
Council's Justus Lispius building.

At the Summit, the EU will be represented by Herman Van Rompuy, President of the European
Council, and by José Manuel Barroso, President of the European Commission. The People's
Republic of China will be represented by Prime Minister Wen Jiabao.

This Summit will provide an opportunity to strengthen the strategic dialogue between the EU and
China and to discuss a number of issues, in particular political dialogue, economic, trade and
investments questions as well as innovation, cultural cooperation and the promotion of people-to-
people contacts.
