RTSP (Real Time Streaming Protocol), is the TCP / IP protocol architecture of an application layer protocol, from Columbia University, Netscape and RealNetworks, submitted by IETF RFC standards. The agreement defines a one to many applications through the IP network to effectively deliver multimedia data. RTSP is located in the system structure on top of RTP and RTCP, which uses TCP or RTP for data transmission. Compared with the RTSP HTTP, HTTP send HTML, and RTSP transmission of multimedia data. HTTP request sent by the client, the server responds; use RTSP, the client and the server can request that the RTSP can be bidirectional.
