Diversified equity funds are portfolios of diverse stocks across sectors and capitalisation segments. UTI Mastershare Unit Scheme is a conservatively managed large-cap oriented fund which invests in a well diversified portfolio of fundamentally strong companies. Follows a disciplined approach to investments and seeks to maintain a stream of annual dividends by booking profits regularly. Uses fundamental analysis to select investments. This encompasses analysis of each company’s financial condition, its relative industry standing, as well as market and economic conditions. Suitable for investors who prefer regular dividend with capital appreciation.
