LeBron’s Life
Born on December 30, 1984, in Akron, Ohio. Raised by his mom, Gloria James, his dad was not interested in being a parent. He grew up in a poor and dangerous neighborhood in Akron. He was only an infant when he was showing tremendous instincts about basketball.
High School
Attended St. Vincent-St. Mary Catholic High School in Akron. LeBron was the top high school player in the country as both a junior and senior. He led St. Vincent-St. Mary to two straight state titles, going undefeated his senior year. Colleges did not recruit him, because they knew he was going straight to the NBA.
NBA
He was selected first overall by the Cleveland Cavaliers in 2003. He was the NBA rookie of the year in 2003. One of three rookies in NBA history to average at least 20 points, five rebounds and five assists in one season. Scored a career-high 41 points versus New Jersey on March 27 while dishing out a career high 13 assists.

If LeBron keeps improving his numbers, he could possibly be the best player in the history of the NBA.
