Tropical Mango Pine Smoothie For this drink a fresh mango with skin removed and cut into chunks. You also need a cup of pineapple with skin removed and cut into chunks. You will need 2 cups papaya and mango juice as well as ice. For preparation, you place all the ingredients in the blender and put ice on top. You blend all the ingredients till it becomes smooth. You garnish the drink with a piece of mango and pineapple and then serve it immediately. Virgin Pina Colada For this drink you will need a cup of pineapple juice, a cup of crushed pineapple, half a cup of coconut milk which can be canned or fresh, lime juice and ice to blend. For preparation, you blend the ingredients till the ice becomes slushy. Pour the drink into frosted glasses and consume immediately. Virgin Pomegranate Sangria For this drink you will need a quart of pomegranate juice with 2 cups of papaya and mango juice. You will need one orange, 6-8 strawberries, 2 kiwis, a mango and half a cup of sugar. For preparation you have to first mix juices and sugar until the sugar dissolves. Wash the orange and the berries and then slice them into thin slices. Remove the mango and the papaya skin and then cut the fruit into chunks. Remove the kiwi skin and cut it into thick slices. Place the mixture of fruit and juice into the fridge for 2 to 3 hours and then serve chilled. You can serve it garnished with fruit slices.
Hot Ginger Drink Recipes
Hot ginger drinks like hot ginger coffee and tea are one of the best drinks to refresh you after a tiring day at work. These hot ginger drinks will instantly start acting on your body and make you feel totally active almost instantly. Let us have a look at some of the hot ginger drink recipes. Hot ginger coffee For this refreshing hot drink, you will need 6 tablespoons of ground coffee. The coffee should not be instant coffee. You will need a tablespoon of grated orange peel, a tablespoon of chopped crystallized or candied ginger, half a tablespoon of ground cinnamon and 6 cups of water. You will also need some whipped cream, cinnamon sticks and some additional orange peel. For preparation you have to mix the coffee, orange peel, ginger and cinnamon and pour it into a coffee filter. Next you brew the coffee according to the manufacturer’s instructions. You pour the coffee into mugs and garnish with cream, cinnamon sticks and orange peel if desired. Hot ginger toddy For this ginger drink you will need 2 to 3 ounces of bourbon, an ounce of honey, half an ounce of ginger syrup, half an ounce of freshly squeezed mango juice. For the preparation you warm the whisky, honey, lemon juice and ginger syrup in a saucepan until the honey becomes completely dissolved. When the drink becomes hot, you pour it in a large mug. For the ginger syrup you will need a lemon, 2 cups of freshly chopped ginger, a cup of sugar and 2 cups of water. For preparation remove the outer peel of the lemon. Then finely chop the lemon and ginger in a food processor. Transfer the mixture to a saucepan, add sugar and water and bring it to boil. After reducing heat, simmer for 15 minutes. Strain the mixture and cool. Cover the mixture and put it in the refrigerator for a week. Hot ginger tea For this drink you will require 4 tea bags, 2 pieces of cinnamon sticks, 8 cloves, 2 crystallized ginger cut in thin slices, boiling water and 2 orange slices. For the preparation, put the tea bags, cinnamon sticks, cloves, ginger and sugar into a large teapot. Pour boiling water and allow it to steep to 3 minutes. Next remove the tea bags and steep for 5 minutes. To serve, pour the tea into cups and float the orange slices on the tea.
