Prairie Business ’40 under 40’ application
Prairie Business magazine’s 40 under 40 listing is slated to run in the December 2010 issue.
Last year, we ran only 20 under 40 lists because of space constraints. However, in 2010 because
of the many high-quality submissions received, we have decided to do 40 under 40 listings once
We are seeking nominations for candidates from North Dakota, South Dakota and western
Minnesota for this year's 40 under 40. In order to be considered, candidates must be 39 years old
or younger (and can't turn 40 until January 2011 or later). We are looking for the cream of the
crop, business leaders, CEOs and senior managers at businesses in the region or economic
development officials, state or municipal agencies, university officials or nonprofits. Some may be
entrepreneurs who started their own business; others may be in family businesses or may be
national or regional experts. We feel this is a great way to showcase the best and brightest young
business leaders the region has to offer and also a good way for companies to promote the
accomplishments of their new crop of leaders.
We're looking for some general information on each candidate (name, age in December 2010,
company name, location, a high-resolution color head and shoulders mug shot, and general
biographical info about their accomplishments and any letters of support. Feel free to mention
