Dena’ina elders from Eklutna and representatives of the tribal governments of Eklutna and
Knik will offer remarks at the end of the presentation.

                                                      Chasing the Past After Katrina:
                                                      Archaeological Response in the
                                                              Wake of the Hurricane
                                        Ilustrated talk on his experiences as an archaeologist
                                       engaged in trying to save Mississippi’s archaeological
                                              sites from the bulldozers of debris clean-up and
                                                       reconstruction in the months following
                                                                            Katrina’s landfall.
