The following candidates are listed alphabetically.
David Cass ~ I have lived and worked in the Jamestown-Mayville area for quite some time. I feel that my experience qualifies me to deal with issues the credit union faces relative to its’ buildings and facilities. I believe I would also add creativity to board decisions and problem solving methods. My father was a financial institution manager and my life experiences have always called upon my financial knowledge to help me make the right choices.
David’s Personal Interests & Experiences: • College Degree in Architecture-Ryerson College in Toronto • Profession: Architectural Designer and Builder for 30 years • Lived in Lakewood for approximately 10 years, and then moved to Bemus Point five years ago where he lives with his wife, Linda and son, Allen. Linda is a teacher in the Jamestown Schools • Co-owner of the Lakeview Hotel in Mayville • Owns and manages approximately 50 rental properties in the Chautauqua County Area • On the Board of the Chamber of Commerce in Mayville • Board Member and manager of the Chautauqua County Youth Hockey Association at the Ice Arena at Jamestown
Salvatore Crisanti ~ I was one of the original members of the Al Tech Federal Credit Union,
serving as its treasurer for several years. I was also involved in the merger with the Chautauqua County Highway Employees Federal Credit Union and later the merger with the Chautauqua Employees’ Association Federal Credit Union. I worked with the board to make those mergers as smooth as possible. I worked on the building committee in planning the new Dunkirk office and have started in the planning of the Falconer office and would like to see it through to its completion. Ted Jose ~ I have always enjoyed my visits to do business at the Credit Union and think they are a great group of people. I would be pleased to serve on the Board of Directors and work together with those already involved in the organization. The Employees have always been professional, but even more important, they are personable. The options available and the events that the credit union offers are great for the members as well as for the community. Now seems like a good time to step out and invest my time to work and ensure the continuance of the traditions that are tied to this credit union. My credentials may be few, but I always give my best! Ted’s Personal Interests & Experiences: • Active member in this credit union for about 29 years, first with the Falconer Glass credit union, and on into today’s Greater Chautauqua Federal Credit Union • Married to his wife Amy for 26 years; they have raised three daughters and are now enjoying the grandkids. • Currently employed at Truck-Lite in Falconer. • Previously employed by Falconer Glass Ind., MRC/SKF, and C P Plastics. • Graduated from Falconer Central School. • Volunteers at the Angel Food Ministries. • Served on a Church Board as Trustee and Treasurer as well as performing various tasks at area churches. • Enjoys camping, traveling and FOOTBALL.
Rodney L. Kolstee ~ I was on the Board of Directors for 17 years and felt we had accomplished many things that benefited the Credit Union and its’ members. The Credit Union is currently working on relocating the Falconer office, growing the membership, and providing new services that will enable our Credit Union to be the only financial institution our members will ever need. The Credit Union is very important to me and I would truly appreciate the opportunity to once again serve on the board to help accomplish these goals.
Rod’s Personal Interests & Experiences: • Married to his wife Peggy for 22 years; he has two sons Willie 24, and Dan 21, and a granddaughter Sophia who is 2 years old. • Employed as a Welder by Chautauqua County DPF for 30 years. • A Credit Union board member for 17 years, and President from 1992~2006, serving on the Asset Liability Management, Personnel, Building, and Security Committees throughout my terms. • Past President, and Vice President of the Jamestown District Council of the New York State Credit Union League. • Past Second Vice President, and current Steward of CSEA Unit 6300. • Past Youth leader for the Lakewood United Methodist Church. • Head Coach of numerous CCYHA ice hockey teams. • Co-founder and current Head coach for the CCYHA Sled Hockey Program for physically challenged youth.
