Atlanta, GA (October 1st, 2010) Games & Things, a game room and home theater retailer, today
announces the celebration of 30 years in business.

Since 1980, Games & Things has evolved from a local sporting goods store to a
dedicated game room and home theater design center, offering the best quality pool
tables, home theater systems, home theater seating, custom bars, bar & counter stools,
card tables, game chairs and much more.

Games & Things was founded October 1980 in Knoxville, Tennessee by entrepreneur
Robert Baxter. 13 years later, Games & Things moved its headquarters to Atlanta,
Georgia and expanded its operations.
In 1993; Games & Things opened its first Atlanta area store in Norcross, GA. Then a couple of
years later two more stores in Kennesaw and Buford, GA.

In 2007; Games & Things acquired two locations in the Chicago suburbs of Palatine and
Woodridge IL.

In 2009; Games & Things opened its first new mid-west store located in Chicago’s North shore
area of Glenview, IL.
