Search tips
Don’t type sentences in the search box. Use single words or short phrases (two or three at most) e.g. marketing or flexible working. Remember that you can narrow your search by searching in the title or article summary (abstract). Use the wildcard (?) search e.g. wom?n to find woman or women. Use the truncation (*) search e.g. manag* to find manage, management, manager Use and to combine search terms e.g. “flexible working” AND team* Use or to search for alternative words e.g. wom?n or female Use not to exclude words e.g. NOT part-time
