Dear Professor Harley,
We are organizing the MIT Linguistics Colloquium Series
for the upcoming year (Fall 2007 and Spring 2008), and
we would like to invite you to give a talk.
Our colloquia are normally held on Friday afternoons
and the following are the available Fridays for this
coming year. If you are interested and are able to
visit us, please let us know which of the following
dates are good for you. Please indicate (at least)
first, second and third choices.
September: 14, 21, 28
October: 5, 12, 19, 26
November: 2, 9, 16, 30
February: 8, 15, 22, 29
March: 7, 14, 21
April: 4, 11, 18, 25
May: 2, 9
Since we operate on a limited budget, we are unable to
offer an honorarium. However, if you will require
travel to come to Boston at the time of your talk, we
will be able to meet the full cost of a roundtrip,
economy-class ticket purchased in a timely fashion.
Also, our colloquium speakers have traditionally been
hosted by faculty members, so you will have a place to
stay in Boston.
We hope very much that you will be able to accept our
invitation. If you need any more information please
don't hesitate to contact us.
Looking forward to hearing from you,
MIT colloquium organizers:
Jessica Coon & Jonah Katz
