The 2008 Tournaments are brought to you by Georgetown Ice Center and are sanctioned by the Michigan Amateur Hockey Association. For all teams to be eligible they must be registered with appropriate state associations and all team credentials must be presented at time of registration. All USA Hockey rules will apply except where amended GAME FORMAT: This tournament offers a FOUR GAME GUARANTEE with FIVE GAMES possible. For each classification there will be two – four team divisions with each classification consisting of no more than eight teams. A three game round robin format will be played per division up to the Semi-Final round. Those teams seeded in the top 4 will play in the Semi-Final round with winning teams advancing to the final Championship game. All tournament games will be played at Georgetown Ice Center, 8500 48th Ave., Hudsonville, MI 49426. HOUSE – MITE B HOUSE – SQUIRT B HOUSE – PEE WEE B HOUSE – BANTAM B HOUSE – MIDGET B, 16 & Under; MIDGET BB, 18 & Under/JV Mite B teams will all play 11 minute periods, Squirt B and Pee Wee B teams will all play 12 minute periods, all Bantam B will play 13 minute periods, and Midget B and BB/JV teams will play 14 minute periods. All games will be played over the course of 3 days. Games will begin with Game 1 on Friday. Scheduled start times will be as early as 3pm and will continue through the weekend with an additional 2 games on Saturday and 1 possibly 2 games on Sunday. All games will begin play with Mite divisions and continue through to Midget. Georgetown Ice Center has secured room blocks at area sanctioned hotels for all of those participating in the tournament. It is a condition of acceptance that all teams participating in the tournament handle their reservations and accommodations through our Tournament Director. All out-of-town teams are ONLY permitted to stay at an authorized hotel. Any team handling reservations on their own will risk their place in the tournament as well as their deposit / tournament fee. There will be NO GATE charged for admission into the tournament. The only fees required are those to participate in the tournament. Mite B, $815; Squirt B, $835; Pee Wee B, $835; Bantam B, $865; and Midget B/BB/JV, $865. All division schedules will be posted 10 -14 days prior to tournament start date. Except where certain situations apply. Schedules will be made available on our website at: www.georgetownmi.gov and will also be forwarded to all participating Team Contacts. There will be a 50% fee assessed for all cancellations taking place 30 days before tournament start date. 100% of tournament fee is non-refundable if cancellation occurs less than 30 days before tournament start date. A $250 non-refundable deposit is due upon registration. Remaining balance will be due 30 days prior to tournament date. Please make all checks payable to: Georgetown Ice Center.
