Blackwell Synergy

     Perform search
     Check the box next to each reference you want to export
     Click on Export citations




     Choose to include the citation only or the citation and the abstract
     Ensure that EndNote is selected as the format
     Ensure that the Direct import box is checked
     Click on the Download references button

   In the File Download window, click Open
   EN will open automatically and the Select a Reference Library window will
    appear
   Select a library to which you want to add the reference(s) and click Open




   EN will automatically import the reference(s) into the library

     Select References  Show All References to view all references

Journals@OVID

     Perform search and click on the Display button
     Check box(es) next to reference(s) you want to download
     Scroll to the bottom of the screen:
          o Under Results and Fields, select the information you’d like to include
          o Under Result Format, choose Direct Export
          o Under Actions, click Save




         o On the next screen, select Export results to Endnote, Procite, or
           Reference Manager and click Continue

   EN will open automatically and the Select a Reference Library window will
    appear
   Select a library to which you want to add the reference(s) and click Open




   On the Choose An Import Filter screen, begin typing ‘Journals’ to jump to the
    Journals (OVID) filter, or scroll down about halfway and select the Journals
    (OVID) filter.

     Click the Choose button.
     EN will automatically import the reference(s) into the library
     Select References  Show All References to view all references

MEDLINEviaOVID

     Check box(es) next to database(s) you wish to search
     Perform search and click on the Display button
     Check box(es) next to reference(s) you want to download
     Scroll to the bottom of the screen:
          o Under Results and Fields, select the information you’d like to include
          o Under Result Format, choose Direct Export
          o Under Actions, click Save

       o On the next screen, select Export results to Endnote, Procite, or

   EN will open automatically and the Select a Reference Library window will
    appear
   Select a library to which you want to add the reference(s) and click Open

    EN will automatically import the reference(s) into the library
    Select References  Show All References to view all references

PubMed

    Perform search directly in EndNote:
         o Go to Tools  Connect  Connect
         o Begin typing ‘PubMed’ to jump to PubMed (NLM), or scroll down about
            halfway and select the PubMed (NLM) filter
         o Click Connect
                 Note: after you connect for the first time, you can simply go to
                   Tools  Connect  PubMed (NLM).

   Type in your search term(s) and click Search

   Click OK to retrieve your references.




   To copy all references to your library, click Copy All References To
   To copy particular references to your library, Ctrl + click on them and click
    Copy [# of] References To
   Select Choose Library, select the library to which you want to add the
    reference(s), and click Open

   EN will copy the selected reference(s) to your library and display all of your
    references
