FM Global Climbs 12 Spots on FORTUNE Magazine’s 2007 List of Largest U.S.
Companies
Commercial Property Insurer Ranks #578 Among the Top 1,000 Companies;
Ranks #3 Among Rhode Island Companies on the List
JOHNSTON, R.I., USA –based FM Global, a $4.5 billion insurer to owners of large
commercial, industrial and institutional property worldwide, has climbed 12 spots to
#578 on FORTUNE magazine’s 2007 list of America's largest companies, based on 2006
revenue. FM Global debuted on FORTUNE’s list in 2003 at #697; last year, the company
ranked #590.
FORTUNE magazine is one of the largest and longest-running business magazines in the
United States, and is especially known for its annual feature ranking the largest 1,000
companies by revenue. Among FORTUNE 1000 companies in Rhode Island, FM Global
ranked third behind CVS and Textron.
