REGULAR MEETING OF THE TRUMANN SCHOOL BOARD OCTOBER 8, 2007 CONFERENCE ROOM
7:00 P.M. MEMBERS PRESENT: GERALD SMITH - PRESIDENT TAYLOR MORGAN - VICE-PRESIDENT GARY RUSSELL - SECRETARY RONNIE EVERHART JEFF JONES JOE WALSZONIA - SUPERINTENDENT .CALL TO ORDER Gerald Smith called the meeting to order and welcomed everyone present. Present at the meeting were Bobby Benson, Cynthia Wright, Karleen Sheets, 1Sgt Roger Herriott, Major Jerry Lynch, Trumann JROTC Troop, Jim Montgomery, Jim Reed, Deanne Reed, and Ruth Anne Estes. Motion by Jeff Jones and seconded by Ronnie Everhart to approve the minutes of the regular board meeting for September 10, 2007. Passed. Motion by Gary Russell and seconded by Taylor Morgan to approve the minutes of the public board meeting of September 10, 2007. Passed. APPROVAL OF THE FINANCIAL STAT TEMPORARY SECRETARY TO THE BOARD APPOINTED BID ACCEPTED FOR THE NEW HIGH SCHOOL Motion by Taylor Morgan and seconded by Gary Russell to approve the financial statement for September 2007. Passed. Motion by Taylor Morgan and seconded by Jeff Jones to approve to appoint Ronnie Everhart temporary secretary to the Trumann School Board until the regular held board meeting on November 12, 2007. Regular Meeting of the Trumann School Board October 8, 2007 Motion by Gary Russell and seconded by Ronnie Everhart to approve I.S. Corporation, Batesville, Arkansas 72501 for thirteen (13) laptop computers to be used for tutoring and paid for by 21st CCLC funds. (A copy of the bid is attached as a part of these minutes.) Passed. Motion by Gary Russell and seconded by Ronnie Everhart to approve to pay Mike Dungan $2,500 to be in charge of the 4th, 5th, and 6th Grade Girls and Boys PeeWee Basketball Program for the 2007-2008 school year. Passed. Motion by Gary Russell and seconded by Taylor Morgan to approve a $1,000 bonus for all certified personnel and a $500 bonus for all classified personnel. Passed. Motion by Taylor Morgan and seconded by Ronnie Everhart to enter executive session at 7:30 P. M. Passed.
