Bldg #10, Phoenix, AZ 85034-7263 In order to attend this training it is REQUIRED that you hold a Family Readiness Group Leadership position as the Chairperson, Co-Chairperson, Treasurer, or Secretary. Military personnel must be a Commander, Rear Detachment Commander/Team Member, or Unit Family Readiness Liaison (UFRL). In addition, you must be identified on the Unit Request for Establishment of FRG memorandum signed by the commander and it must current and on file in the Joint Family Programs Office. Everyone in an FRG Leadership position is required to attend the training, even if you have already had the training – prior to March 1, 2008. We are now using the Operation Ready Family Readiness Group materials.
YOU MUST COMPLETE THE ATTACHED REGISTRATION FORM TO ATTEND THE TRAINING!
Civilian FRG leaders attending the training will be put on an Invitational Travel Authorization (ITA) and reimbursed roundtrip mileage (please bring a voided check - the payroll office will need the routing and account number from your check to deposit payment into your account). We cannot pay for military members – please check with your unit to see if they can put you on orders, split train or RMA. You must have a military/dependant ID card to enter the Air Guard compound – if you do not have an ID please note that on your registration form so that we can leave a list of names at the guard gate. Please fill out the attached registration form and return back to our office before Friday, March 20th, 2009. Seats for training will be filled on a first come first serve basis, once we reach our capacity we will not be able to take anymore.
