The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) invites you to attend a Public Availability Session to learn about the formaldehyde study. You are invited to learn more about testing of air quality in FEMA-supplied trailers and mobile homes. CDC will host public availability sessions to discuss the findings of their study on formaldehyde in FEMA-supplied trailers and mobile homes. A 30-minute presentation will be given at the start of each session. A public availability session is an informal meeting where community members can talk one-on-one with CDC scientists about health concerns. The same information will be discussed at all sessions. The following topics will be discussed • results of testing conducted from December 21, 2007 until January 22, 2008, • how the tests were conducted, and • other health-related information. FEMA will also be at each of the sessions to provide information about the relocation of FEMA-supplied trailer and mobile home residents to other housing.
