Examples of SMART Objectives
Goal: Improve vaccination coverage among children and adolescents in the state through the AFIX program. Process
By December 2007, 100% of AFIX field staff in the state will receive training on how to conduct feedback sessions that meet all AFIX Level I standards. By March 2008, all AFIX staff who participated in the feedback training will report an increase in knowledge about the components of a feedback session including what items need to be included in a quality improvement plan. By June 2008, all AFIX staff who participated in the training will include QI plans that contain all key items in their feedback sessions. By June 2009, the number of providers who implement all recommended interventions by the proposed date will increase by 50%.
