Minutes of the March 13, 2007 Cumberland County 4-H Council/Leaders Association Monthly Meeting The meeting was called to order by Kenny Starling. The meeting was opened with the Pledges to the United States and to 4-H. There were no new members or visitors present. Minutes were not read since the Council Secretary was not present. Deborah Bruton volunteered to take the minutes of the evening’s meeting in her absence. The old business included the following: a. Scrapbooks for County Activity Day-Photos should be turned in to the youth council if you do not wish to make a page for your club before MAY 8 to allow enough time for them to make the pages before District Day. Each club needs to provide a page so that Cumberland County will be represented well. b. Charter and Enrollment forms-need to be turned in to the 4-H office. c. The Hotdog Sale at the Tractor Supply was held on 3/10. A financial report was not provided however, Precious indicated that enough funds were raised to cover the funds still needed for some teens to attend the Teen Retreat. d. The BBQ sale was discussed. The following is needed: drivers for delivery, kids to work curbside, desserts for the “dine-in” customers, and tea. Sign-up sheets were passed. Volunteers who were not at the meeting can call the 4-H office to sign up for those tasks. A DAILY HEADCOUNT NEEDS TO BE CALLED IN TO THE 4-H OFFICE SO THE CATERER WILL KNOW HOW MANY HE IS SERVING. e. Emma Brown from the Sharpshooter Club has offered to work on a new County 4-H Flag.
