Entry Fee: $100 - Additional money to be raised by sponsorship. - Starting positions determined by amount raised - If you raise the greatest amount, you will have position number 1!! ALL SPONSORSHIP MONEY IS TAX DEDUCTIBLE All money raised will be distributed to: - Secretariat Center - Blue Grass Farms Chaplaincy - Central Kentucky Riding for Hope Two divisions in this race: - TB - Non TB Trophy awarded to the winner of each division. Winning jockeys to receive a julep cup.
Conditions of Race
Minimum age of rider: 21 Distance: 1 ¼ miles Hunter/Stable Ponies (no current racehorses) Horse and rider to be approved prior to the race by High Hope officials at schooling session Riders will mount at beginning of the race - Hunting horn will sound to start race Minimum of 3 jumps on the course - max height of 3ft Minimum of 3 tasks to be performed - designed to test skill of horse & rider The race is designed to be spectator friendly, to provide safe family fun and to raise money for worthwhile charities…So make sure you have fun!! $18,000 raised in previous years. So, let’s work hard this year top that!
