CAREER HIGHLIGHTS: Spent the 2008 season with Arizona, going 1-3
with a 6.00 ERA (32 ER / 48.0 IP) in 17 games (six starts)... began the season
in the bullpen, but was moved into the starting rotation when starter Doug
Davis was diagnosed with thyroid cancer... in five starts, he was 1-2 with a
6.55 ERA, averaging 4.4 innings per start... lost his starting job to Max Scher-
zer and was moved back to the bullpen after Scherzer pitched 4.1 innings of
perfect relief for González on April 29.

Spent the entire 2007 at the Major League Level for the first time in his
career, winning a career-high eight games for the Diamondbacks... opened the
season in the starting rotation for Arizona and picked up his first win in his
first start on April 5 at Washington... tossed 7.0 innings on one-run ball with
seven strikeouts on April 21 at San Francisco, but suffered the loss... was
moved to the bullpen on May 4, appearing in relief for three games... had a
seven-game winning streak from May 25-Sept. 16, the longest of the season
