Press Conference on April 21st Features Cousteau’s Alarming Discovery that Humans--Not Just Whales--are Contaminated with Toxic Chemicals; and Cousteau’s Joint Efforts with Government and Private Sectors to Support Finding Alternative Solutions WHAT: Jean-Michel Cousteau of Ocean Futures Society (OFS) will hold a press conference on Tuesday, April 21st to announce OFS’ latest findings: humans are contaminated with toxins found in flame retardants—the same toxins found in whales and marine life. Cousteau will talk about the impact of these findings on the environment and his new campaign to help find alternative solutions and better protection against flame retardants known as PBDEs.
