Abrakadoodle Parties,

Abrakadoodle Parties are easy for parents, FUN for kids and include:

Have The Party In Your Home Or Another Location Which You Reserve
• To host the party in your home or at the location of your choosing, you will need to
provide table space and a chair (or floor space) for each child. We use only safe, non-
toxic and washable art products, but for ease of cleanup we recommend using a non-
carpeted space. If the area is carpeted, let us know and we can bring draping to protect
the carpet. If you select a wet project, please have an area where the project can dry
without being disturbed.
• We recommend scheduling the art activity early in the party. This allows time for the art
projects to dry before guests depart. If you are adding face painting, this will be done
after the art activity while your guests enjoy cake, ice cream, etc.
• Total Time = 1 hour for the art project (not including set up/clean up time)
Have The Party In Our Art Studio
• You are welcome to host the party in our art
studio which is located in Calhoun Square in
Uptown Minneapolis (3001 Hennepin
Avenue South at the corner of West Lake
Street and Hennepin Ave). We will reserve
the entire studio for your event and can
accommodate up to 25 children.
• Our studio is available on Saturdays and
Sundays at 10:00am, 12:30pm, 3:00pm or
5:30pm (perfect to kick off a slumber party!).
Other times and days available upon request.
• We do not supply cake, food or beverages; however, you are welcome to bring these
items to the studio 15 minutes prior to your party. We have a mini refrigerator you can use

during the party. We also have a six foot table that can be used for food and drinks. You
are welcome to bring decorations such as balloons or banners. No streamers please.
• Staff will assist with cake cutting, present opening, and take care of all set up/clean up.
• Total Time = 1.5 hours. The first hour of the party is devoted to the art lesson (and face
painting, if requested). The last 30 minutes can be used for cake and present opening.
• There is a grace period of 15 minutes beyond the party for parent pick up, however, if the
party goes beyond the grace period of 15 minutes, you will be charged $40 per hour for
any additional time.

At your home or a location you reserve/choose: $199 for up to 10 children
At our art studio: $279 for up to 10 children (our entire art studio is reserved for your event)
Additional children (after 10): $9 per additional child

Arty Party Favors:
Little Artist Bag. These bags are filled with non-toxic, child-safe Crayola® art
supplies such as crayons, markers and more. Also includes a gift certificate for one
free Abrakadoodle® art class per child. $8 per child (value is $24).
Endangered Species Sponge Painting Kit. This kit is filled with Crayola tempera paint, dinosaur
shaped sponges, and construction paper. Also includes a gift certificate for one free
Abrakadoodle art class per child. $8 per child (value is $24).
Large Bag o’ Fun. These bags are filled with a wide variety of non-toxic, child-safe Crayola art
supplies such as modeling clay, markers, glitter glue and more. Also includes a gift certificate for
one free Abrakadoodle art class per child. Our most popular party favor! $10 per child (gift
value equals $30)

With hundreds of activities to choose from, we’re sure you are going to find one your birthday
child and guests will LOVE! Below is a list of our most popular art activities. If none of these suit
your fancy, give us a call at 612-605-8379, and we will help you pick the perfect art activity for
your child’s most unique birthday experience. With one month’s notice, we’ll even custom
create a lesson for your child at no extra charge!
For Children 2 Years and Up!
Polar Bear Plunge
Did you know that polar bears can walk on ice that humans would fall
through? In this fun lesson we’ll use modeling clay to sculpt polar
bears! This is a fun lesson where we roll, pound and squeeze while
sculpting a polar bear face. Kids get to have fun mixing colors together
while building motor skills. This lesson can easily be adapted to fit
other themes such as Mickey Mouse, It’s a Big Big World, and more.
Great choice if space is an issue or you’d like a non-messy project.
Action Painting
What could be more fun than painting with golf balls, toy cars, fly
swatters and more! This messy, but fun filled, action painting
adventure is based on the art of Jackson Pollock and is always a hit.
Great for large groups! This lesson is best done on non-carpeted
floors as children do sometimes spill paint during this lesson.
Fishy Mobile
This mobile lesson is fun for all ages as we learn to create our own fish
mobile like Alexander Calder. This lesson can be easily adapted to fit other
themes such as Dora (we’ll make Boots, Dora’s pet monkey), Curious
George, Little Mermaid, Finding Nemo, and more. This is a great lesson for
parties where guests (and moms) would like to stay clean and have fun.
Rainbow Hands
Create a unique keepsake of each child’s handprints as we
learn about the many colors of the world. Ideal for parties
where the parents plan to stay and participate.
A Journey to The Stars! Blast off on an adventure to the stars as children create a

Meow Meow
Calling all cat lovers! In this amazingly cool lesson, we’ll paint crazy and
colorful cat pictures as we learn about Lauren Burch. We’ll draw a cat
using cat templates then fill in with paint using wild colors and fun
patterns. An impressive keepsake to be treasured forever.
Water, Water, Everywhere
If your child loves nature, then this is the project for you! We’ll create
beautiful paintings of whales, dolphins and other creatures using bubble
wrap, saran wrap and more as we learn about special 3D painting effects!
Dob A Dob of Fun
This lesson is a guaranteed hit! We’ll use bingo bottles and stencils
to create unique dot paintings like Georges Suerat. This is a great
lesson if you want your child to paint, but don’t want it to be messy.

Superhero, Anyone?
We are now offering the coolest birthday party activity in town! During this wild and wacky art
project, each child learns how to draw him or herself as their favorite comic book or superhero

In our dreams we can be princes or princesses, aliens or superheroes.
We can even fly! In this creative and imaginative art project we
combine oil pastels and digital photography to make your child’s
dreams come true. Ideal for a wide variety of themes.
Race to Outer Space
If your child is fascinated by bugs, aliens, monsters and outer
space, this is the party for you! Children learn to sculpt as they
create crazy 3D alien figures. Boys and girls alike love these
inventive, original and playful alien creatures.
Flower Power!
Paint your own puzzle with beautiful flowers like Renoir or O’Keefe as
we learn about color, scale, and creativity. We’ll even use live

Abrakadoodle Birthday Party Guide
Deposits, Cancellations and Damages
A $50 non-refundable deposit is due to hold your reservation. Balance due is payable 3 days
prior to the party, based on final guest count, and is non-refundable. We accept personal check,
Visa or MasterCard. We do not accept American Express. In the event your party is postponed
due to illness or other emergency, you may reschedule within 60 days at no additional cost. If
you do not reschedule within 60 days, your payment is forfeited. Abrakadoodle uses only safe,
non-toxic, washable Crayola products and provides drop cloths to protect furniture when the
party is being held in your home. While we take care to perform reasonable clean up after each
party, we cannot be held responsible for any damage done to clothing, furniture, carpeting,
drapes, or other household items if the party is held in your home.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: How do I know if the day/time I’m interested in is available?
A: You can either give us a call at 612-605-8379 or email us at slawrence@abrakadoodle.com and
we’ll check our calendar for you. Or simply fax in your form. If your day/time isn’t available we’ll
call you to figure out another day/time for your party. If we can’t find a day/time that works for
your group, you will not be charged the $50 deposit.
Q: What if I don’t see a lesson idea I like?
A: Just give us a call at 612-605-8379. We have over 1800 lessons so we guarantee we’ll find a
lesson you, your child and guests will love!
Q: Will the art project be messy?
A: It depends on the project you choose. We do bring an apron for each child to wear, but we
recommend you include a line in your invitation which says, “Please dress your child in play cloths
as we’ll be doing art projects.” If you are worried about your project being messy, just give us a
call and we’ll help you find a fun yet messy free project.
Q: What if I want to book my party, but am not sure which lesson I want yet?
A: No problem! Send us the party reservation form so we can get your day/time booked and just
write TBD for the art lesson. Once a lesson is decided, we’ll write it in for you.
Q: Do I need to tip my birthday party teacher/s?
A: That’s up to you! If you feel your birthday party teacher did a really great job and went above
and beyond to make your child’s party a success, you’re welcome to give her a tip.
Q: Can you recommend other locations besides my house and your art studio?
A: The Byerly’s at St. Louis Park, Ridgedale and Maple Grove and the Lund’s in Plymouth have
great community rooms which are free for public use. We have done many parties at all of the
above locations and parents and kids alike have been very pleased with the rooms there. To
reserve a room, simply call the general number for the location in which you are interested. In
addition, most of the local Parks and Rec buildings have rooms they will rent for parties for a
nominal fee.

• Choose a lesson to match your party theme or your child’s favorite activity! Suggested lessons are

count will be used to determine your final bill. If more children attend the birthday party, the

We had an awesome experience with Abrakadoodle for our 3 year olds birthday.
Overall, they were very organized with everything. The party went just as discussed,
no surprises. The instructors were great with the children, very encouraging and inviting
as to the activities and what would happen next. We started with a story, engaging everyone,
then moved to art, then face painting and lunch. It was so nice to be able to enjoy it and not
