Train local facilitators to run group coaching sessions on core business growth skills to motivate, inform and network participants. This project is being delivered across Queensland, New South Wales, ACT, Victoria and Tasmania. Diagnostics, training and mentoring/coaching in key business management practices to 25 members of OutBack Beds, a network of tourism operators in remote NSW and Queensland. Foster entrepreneurship & maximise growth potential/sustainability of businesses through skills development (via training, self-study, group learning and individual mentoring) of 300 small business owners Australia-wide in the music industry. This project will educate, challenge and mentor 75 defence industry small business leaders in NSW, SA, Queensland, Victoria, and WA to enhance their entrepreneurial capabilities, using the proven "Tell - Show - Do" formula; with seminars, workshops, practical tasks and mentoring provided in identical programs. Project Description High quality and in-depth structured training and mentoring projects to foster, encourage and improve specific business skills of more than 120 young entrepreneurs in eight Local Government Areas in the Greater Albury/Wodonga Region. Skills development training and innovative mentoring of 100 young entrepreneurial business managers in Hunter region. Participants to work in an interactive style with a panel of experienced industry members and develop and implement a strategic plan to achieve potential growth of the business. Selected companies with high potential for growth and need for assistance in capital raising (min of 20) to be invited to participate in the Hunter Founders Forum & present to the wider industry, particularly potential investors. Inspire entrepreneurship through business coaching and training projects by targeting specific skills such as financial management and compliance in metropolitan and regional areas of NSW initially as a pilot program and then to be rolled out to about 2000 small businesses nationally. Customised training workshops and mentoring sessions on a range of varied themes to 210 business owners/managers across 10 Local Govt. Areas in Sydney. An innovative combination of online delivery methods (using structured training modules and peer collaboration) and web-community resources to provide business skills development and mentoring for 120 young women entrepreneurs in a personalised, collaborative learning environment. Syndicated peer and experiential learning and mentoring 40-50 emerging companies in the Sydney metropolitan area to instil an international focus by developing the skills needed to creatively discover and exploit the benefits associated with international business. Training, services and support to enable 200 young small business owners from twenty local government areas within the Riverina region to engage in ecommerce and establish a website to assist in the growth and development of their businesses. Meet the skills development needs of 600 young people in business in the regions of Illawarra, Greater Western Sydney and the Central Coast. Provide training seminars in relation to effectively managing their regulatory and compliance obligations.

Assist 128 young business owners in the retail sector in Whyalla, Port Augusta, Port Pirie and Port Lincoln develop new business skills relevant to their core retail industry to increase their competitive edge in the market, via group and individual mentoring sessions on; advanced selling and customer service techniques, merchandise display and marketing. Tailored business skills and practical business mentoring program targeting 150 young entrepreneurs, home-based business owners and business managers via an innovative program delivery method using technology combined with proven business knowledge and experience within the SE region of SA. Provide business skills development, focused customised mentor support and networking opportunities to 80 small business owners and managers from the tourism and retail business sectors in the Derwent Valley Municipality in Southern Tasmania. Target 60 young visual artists, under the age of 35 yrs in the Northern, Southern and Coastal regions of Tasmania to deliver skills in strategic planning, career development and the integrated branding strategy through state-wide training and online mentoring. Provide individualised skills development through structured mentoring to 30 young entrepreneurs (under 35) managing micro businesses in the building trades throughout the Tasmanian Region. Train and Mentor 30 young entrepreneurs and managers in 10 food SMEs within 25 kms of Melbourne to complete business diagnostics and implement integrated business plans. The program aims to promote an open and factbased dialogue and create an environment for life long learning in: strategy definition; business diagnostics; developing integrated plans including realignment of structures, systems, behaviours, values and management processes; operationalising plans; and tracking performance against these plan. Deliver training in business planning skills to 10 small businesses and 5 nonprofit organisations in the towns of Carnarvon, Exmouth and Denham in the remote Gascoyne region of Western Australia. This project involves the delivery of training, skills development workshops, seminars, business events and individual mentoring sessions for 2714 participants throughout the South West and Peel regions of WA. It aims to encourage young entrepreneurs to become innovative and creative in their businesses, seek new opportunities and ways to build their businesses for a more profitable future. Skills development of 110 small businesses in Esperance, Kalgoorlie and Munglinup through seminars, site visits and one-on-one training. A community-based project to grow the creativity and innovation capacity of 48 young small business owners and managers in the Cities of Joondalup and Wanneroo. Engage them in initiatives designed to develop their ability to move quickly to create value for their customers and grow their businesses.
