Feb 2 – 5 Students have the opportunity to find their own advisor.
Feb 6 Advisor Contract forms due. REMEMBER, you do not
have an advisor until the form is signed. Just asking is
not enough to guarantee you that advisor.
Feb 9 – 13 Working on writing strategies
Go to the library for topic research
Feb 11th Final advisor list returned from the GP Coordinator
Feb 16 Project Proposal forms will be given out (forms 1, 3,
Feb 16 – 20 Teaching research strategies and techniques
1st meeting with the advisor sometime during this
Talk with your advisor about the topics you are
interested in. Leave the form with the advisor

Feb 23 – 24 Topics presented to the Graduation Project
Committee for approval
Feb 25 Approved topic forms returned to the students
Feb 26 Those students needing to resubmit meet with Ms.
Adamczak,– after school
Feb 27 Student will resubmit the Project Proposal to the Ms.
March 2 Begin research on topic
March 2 – 6 2nd meeting with advisor
March 10 Progress check #1 due – note cards, bib cards, forms,
March 16-20 3rd meeting with advisor – outline, organization,
March 20th Progress check #2
March 25 ROUGH DRAFT DUE
April 3 POLISHED DRAFT DUE
April 9 polished draft returned
April 21 Final Turnitin ticket generated
April 22 Final Paper due
April 23 Teacher will grade portfolio and complete
April 24 Papers given to the Graduation Committee for
May 6t - 8 ? Scores returned to the students
May 12 Appeal forms due by 3:00 to your teacher.
May 11 – 22 Tutoring for students scoring Level I or II
May 26 Resubmissions /Appeals papersdue to the
committee for grading
June 1 Scores returned to the students
