							Tasmanian Devil Training Course - Trowunna Wildlife Park, Tasmania - Monday 8th November to
Friday 12th November 2010.

Androo Kelly runs the training course, of which on completion you will receive a certificate
which is endorsed by Zoo & Aquarium Association of Australia. This course will aim to provide
participants with a sound understanding of Dasyurid biology, life history, behaviour and
reproduction both in the wild and in captivity, focusing on Tasmanian Devils. This information
will enable participants to sustainably manage Tasmanian Devils in captivity with a greater
understanding of the critical role of the zoological industry in education, research and
conservation. Developing an understanding of Tasmanian Devils in the wild will enable correct
and effective interpretation to occur. Practical sessions will enable correct handling skills to be
developed.

We are able to offer participants a training package which includes the training course;
accommodation and lunch daily. Module 2 of the course will be held in March/ April 2011,
dates yet to be confirmed.
