     GE Technology Infrastructure
•	   GE Aviation announced a contract award with Airbus for the design and
     manufacture of composite and metallic sub assemblies and components
     for the A350XWB wing trailing edge. GE will provide the design, development
     and manufacturing. With this award for the A350XWB, GE builds on its solid
     reputation as a supplier to Airbus for trailing edge sub assemblies and compo-
     nents for A340, A380 and A400M. Full Text Here

•	   GE Aviation added to its rapidly expanding worldwide engine fleet for regional
     jets. With GE Commercial Aviation Services’ order for five-firm, 20-option
     ARJ21 regional jets, Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China, LTD has now
     taken orders for 206 of its new regional jet aircraft, powered by GE Aviation’s
     CF34 engine. Today, more than 4,200 CF34 engines power regional jets – a
     fleet that GE expects to surpass 8,600 CF34 engines by 2018 based on the
     strong demand for GE-powered regional aircraft. Full Text Here

•	   GE Healthcare is leading a broad consortium of private and public sector
     organizations in a major new collaborative research program to transform the
     care of elderly citizens in Hungary. The program has secured HUF 895 million
     (US $4.2 million) from the Hungarian government to research and develop
     new ways of monitoring the health of elderly citizens in their own homes. GE
     Healthcare will invest an additional HUF 238 million (US $1.1 million) in the

•	   GE Healthcare, in collaboration with University of Pittsburgh Medical Center
     (UMPC), announced a plan to develop international oncology centers to help
     meet the growing demand for cancer treatments. This effort will provide
     UPMC’s world-renowned cancer expertise to patients now lacking such care.
     GE Healthcare was selected as the strategic provider and servicer of all the
     medical equipment that it is capable of supplying to these facilities.

•	   GE Security Inc., a business of GE Enterprise Solutions, announced availability
     of a new version of its wireless eKEY that will enable full lockbox functionality
     for BlackBerry® smartphones. The eKEY Basic version is expected to be avail-
     able for BlackBerry by mid-December 2008 and eKEY Professional in spring
     2009. Both eKEY Basic and eKEY Professional will allow real estate agents to
     access, manage and search listed properties using BlackBerry smart phones

•	   As part of GE Fanuc Intelligent Platforms’ Innovation Day, nine Brazilian
     companies presented stories of their success as a result of using GE products
     and solutions. GE Fanuc, a unit of GE Enterprise Solutions, hosted a full day of
     discussions of technology and solutions for multiple industries in Brazil, to help
     companies build systems to improve quality and control production systems

     GE Energy Infrastructure
•	   GE Energy announced the shipment of its 10,000th 1.5-megawatt wind turbine, a global
     wind industry milestone. Over the past decade, GE’s 1.5-megawatt machines have been
     installed in 19 countries and have accumulated more than 130 million operating hours,
     producing more than 78,000 gigawatt-hours of cleaner, wind-generated electricity. The
     10,000th unit was shipped to FPL Energy, the largest U.S. generator of wind power, for
     the Ashtabula Wind Energy Center located in North Dakota. Full Text Here

•	   GE Energy announced that it has signed a 15-year service agreement with South
     African oil and gas company Sasol. Under the agreement, GE Energy will provide
     around-the-clock monitoring and diagnostics of Sasol’s new power plant in Secunda,
     which could help ease South Africa’s energy crisis. Full Text Here

•	   GE Energy has been awarded a contract to supply two F-technology gas turbines and
     additional equipment to Lurgi Energie und Entsorgung Gmbh of Ratingen, Germany. The
     units will be installed at an existing cogeneration plant in Stadtwerke Duisburg, Duis-
     burg-Wanheim, Germany that is used for both power and district heating. Full Text Here

•	   GE Water & Process Technologies held an opening ceremony for its newly expanded
     manufacturing facility in Wuxi New Zone, China. The 10,000-square-meters expan-
     sion represents an investment of nearly $9 million, and further strengthens GE’s ability
     to provide solutions that support China’s need for cost-effective, environmentally
     conscious technologies. Full Text Here

•	   GE Water & Process Technologies, has teamed with Orb Electrical Steels to help the
     South Wales based company meet its environmental goals by achieving major water
     and cost savings. Orb Electrical Steels, a business within the Corus Group and a leading
     manufacturer of specialty steels for applications worldwide, has reduced its annual
     water usage by nearly 60 million gallons and its annual operating costs by approxi-
     mately GBP 300,000 (US $500,000). The project played a key role in enabling Orb to
     support a corporate sustainability program that calls for reduced water consumption.

•	   GE Oil & Gas recently completed work ahead of schedule for two of the final four
     compression stations being built for an expansion of China’s landmark West-to-East
     Gas Pipeline, increasing the supply of natural gas to Shanghai prior to the upcoming
     harsh winter season. First firing of the gas turbine-driven compressor unit was achieved
     more than two months ahead of schedule. The total project was finished in just over
     three months, 46% faster than previous installations on the pipeline, which is a new
     record for GE Oil & Gas. Full Text Here

•	   GE Oil & Gas has been awarded a contract to provide gas turbines for the Motiva Port
     Arthur Refinery Expansion Project, which will create the largest refinery in the United
     States and one of the top 10 in the world. This will mark the first U.S. installation of the
     Frame 6B generator packages manufactured by GE Oil & Gas. The GE Frame 6B gas
     turbines for this expansion are rated at 42.1 megawatts each and will be used to

     GE Capital
•	   GE Commercial Aviation Services Limited (GECAS) and Shanghai-based
     Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China, LTD announced a signed contract
     for five ARJ21 regional jets, with options for 20 additional aircraft. With this
     contract GECAS becomes the first global lessor to add the ARJ21 to its fleet.
     Deliveries of the aircraft will begin in 2013. Full Text Here

•	   GE Capital announced it co-led a $400 million asset-based credit facility for JBS
     USA, Inc., the U.S. subsidiary of JBS S.A., the world’s largest beef producer and
     exporter. The loan will be used for working capital needs. During a challenging
     capital markets environment, GE coordinated a group of banks which have
     provided the liquidity to help JBS S.A. continue to prosper. Full Text Here

•	   GE Capital announced it provided a $250 million senior secured plan of reor-
     ganization credit facility to Vertis Communications, a targeted print advertising
     and direct marketing solutions provider. The loan was used to refinance the
     company’s debtor-in-possession financing upon the company’s emergence
     from a pre-packaged Chapter 11 bankruptcy. In July, GE Commercial Finance
     also provided the company with a $380 million DIP credit facility. Full Text Here

•	   GE Antares Capital announced it served as administrative agent for a $200
     million asset-based credit facility to support the acquisition of Pittsburgh Glass
     Works, LLC by affiliates of Kohlberg & Company. Pittsburgh Glass Works supplies
     automotive OEM windshields, rear and side windows, sunroofs and assemblies
     for auto and truck manufacturers, and it supplies and distributes replacement
     automotive glass products for use in the aftermarket. Full Text Here

•	   GE Money and Volvo Cars of North America announced a multi-year agree-
     ment to provide consumer financing on service, parts and accessories to Volvo
     customers through their retail dealer network. The card program, managed by
     GE Money’s Sale Finance unit, offers Volvo owners an easy and convenient way
     to pay for auto repair and maintenance through a no annual fee credit card.

•	   GE Money and Pebble-Flex®, a leading manufacturer of soft rubber surfacing
     material, announced a new multi-year relationship to provide consumers with
     financing. The Home DesignSM program, a revolving credit program backed by
     GE Money’s Sales Finance unit, is now available through Pebble-Flex dealers

•	   GE Energy Financial Services, along with CMEA Ventures and StatoilHydro,
     invested $14.5 million in Danotek Motion Technologies. The deal helps Danotek
     to bolster its contribution of high-efficiency and cost-saving generators to the
     $37 billion wind industry. Danotek’s generators can spur the wind equipment
     market by increasing wind turbines’ efficiency while radically reducing their

     NBC Universal
•	   The weekend box office grosses for November 8-9 pushed Universal past $1 billion in domestic box
     office grosses faster than ever before. Also, for the first time in Universal’s history, the company
     crossed the $1 billion mark for two consecutive years in a row.

•	   The NBC Local Media Group and Fox Television Stations announced the formation of a local news
     service in the markets where both companies own and operate television stations. Launching in
     Philadelphia in early 2009 the venture is a smarter, more effective way to cover local news, ensuring
     the NBC stations have access to a wide range of general market video while also continuing to
     focus on the enterprise, specialized stories that set them apart within their local markets.

•	   “Green Is Universal” announced a new consumer campaign, “Green Your Routine,”
     which was rolled out across the entire company during “Green Week,” a massive,
     multi-platform programming and community affairs effort that took place during
     November. Throughout the week, 42 NBCU brands featured 150 plus hours of
     environmentally themed programming across the company’s television and

Cable, Network and digital performance highlights:

•	   NBC’s primetime lineup is within 0.3 of a rating point of first place in the key 18-49 bracket.

•	   MSNBC’s election night coverage attracted ~5.9 million viewers in primetime, up 108% over
     2004 and 99% over 2000. It was MSNBC’s best night ever among adults 25-54 in primetime.

•	   CNBC Business Day is up 41% in total viewers compared to the same time last year.

•	   msnbc.com dominated election week coverage with more than 782 million page views and
     over 53 million unique visitors during election week.

•	   Today continues as the dominant morning news program including its 675th consecutive
     week in first place.

•	   Saturday Night Live is enjoying its strongest season in 14 years among total viewers.

•	   iVillage experienced its 27th consecutive month of growth, up 14% in October 2008 vs. 2007.

     Citizenship and ecomaginationsm
•	   GE, in partnership with the Honduran Ministry of Health, announced that it
     is expanding its Developing Health GloballyTM program in Honduras from the
     original two hospitals to six facilities. This GE corporate citizenship program
     aims to improve access to quality healthcare in the developing world by
     addressing critical gaps in existing healthcare facilities. Full Text Here

•	   Global Nuclear Fuel, a joint venture of GE, Toshiba and Hitachi, spearheaded
     wastewater plant changes that drove down water usage site-wide at its
     Wilmington, N.C., headquarters. The result: a reduction in water usage by 25
     million gallons annually at the facility. The plant has been working to optimize
     its operations and contribute towards GE’s overall ecomagination commit-
     ment to reduce its water footprint 20% by 2012. Full Text Here

•	   GE Energy, which is supplying advanced technology solutions for the world’s
     largest independent water and power plant, received the inaugural Power
     and Utility Company for Jubail and Yanbu Award for Sustainability from
     Marafiq, a Saudi Arabian integrated utility company. The award recognizes
     the key role GE Energy is playing in the development of a milestone project
     intended to contribute to the Saudi economy and social welfare, as well as the

•	   GE Water & Process Technologies announced it has donated and transferred
     operational ownership for two advanced water treatment systems to Dong-
     guang County, which will provide clean drinking water for more than 40,000
     residents in Dongguang City. Dedicated as a gift to the people of China, the
     systems are designed to help protect human health by removing fluoride and
