Yes you are reading this right, Tar Heel Easter Pageant is a free pageant for anyone to compete in. Join us at the Clemmons Civic Center, 2870 Middlebrook Drive, Clemmons, NC 27012 on Saturday March 22, 2008 at 10:00 for a free pageant. Your door admission of $10.00 is your entry fee for the pageant. You can’t go wrong. ***$10.00 DOOR ADMISSION FOR EVERYONE ATTENDING THE PAGEANT*** Each contestant will compete in Beauty and Photogenic. This is a Sunday Best Pageant. You are encouraged to wear that new Easter Dress. It will be quite affordable for anyone to enter. Cost of dress is not important. Contestants will be judged on how well they look in the dress they wear (color, style, and fit) There will be one winner and 4 runners-up in each division. Winner will receive a trophy, tiara, and banner. Photogenic is free also. If you choose to enter photogenic you must submit one 8 x 10 or smaller photo on the day of the pageant. Can be color or black and white. Photos will be judged on clarity, facial beauty and overall expression. Additional photos may be entered for $10.00 each. Photos must have the contestants name on the back. Winner will receive a trophy. EASTER PARADE: We would like to ask each of you to bring to the pageant your easter bonnet. Moms get those creative minds cranked up again. As in the past we will have a parade of Easter Bonnets for everyone to model and compete in. Anything goes for this bonnet. This is always the highlight of our Easter Pageant. Everyone is invited to model their bonnet for free. A winner will be chosen based on creativity and originality. These may be homemade or bought. We will have some overall optionals you may enter at the door if you wish for $5.00 per event. Best hair, Best smile, Best Personality, Best Dressed, Best Model, and Dream Sweetheart. Talent competition is also optional and will be an additional $15.00. You must send us your registration form and the contestant’s admission money early. We line contestants first in last out. We have to know how many participants we will have so that everyone will get an award. We will take no entries unless you return your blank and/or at least call and tell us you are coming. You may sell good luck wishes for $1.00 each. The contestant who sells the most over 50 wishes will be crowned our Winston Salem Princess with a beautiful tiara. Proceeds from this part of the pageant will go toward our service projects this year.
