tournament rules
• Each team will consist of 6 players with one being designated Captain. The Captain will be responsible to keep score and assist in making final decisions on strategy. • All players drive off of each tee (Men - Black tees / Women – Cinnamon tees). • The best tee shot is selected and each player hits from that spot. • This is continued until the ball is holed out. • Each team member must finish the round counting 1 tee shot. • Once your ball is on the putting surface, the maximum amount of strokes that you may record is two. For example, you take your first 6 attempts at holing out the initial putt, and are unsuccessful, regardless of how far away the closest of your 6 initial putts are, you pick up at that point and record the maximum of two putting strokes for that hole. (2 Putt Rule) • Mark the hole score opposite the team member whose drive you use. • Look for the opportunity to collect playing cards on Holes 4, 7, 11 and 16 to play poker with during the evening’s banquet! At the same time, shoot to win a fabulous vehicle for a Hole-in-One. • On Hole 17 play for a $1,000,000 Hole in One Prize! • Only the first Hole in One on each of the Par 3’s and Hole 17 can win the designated prize. • Spotters will be on the fairways on Holes 1, 6, 8, 9, 12, 13, 14, 15 to wave you on once the previous group is clear. • Once again you have the chance to win a great prize at the Royal Pipe Hole 19 closest to the pin team contest. • Once again this year, we have former CPGA Touring Professional, Scott Kral of Royal LePage Coast Capital Realty hitting tee shots for you on Hole 4. • Mulligan tickets cannot be used: Anywhere on the green, to win a hole in one, long drive, closest to the pin or closest to the fairway target prize, obtain a playing card or count in the Hole 19 team KP game. • Food and Beverages will be available at selected holes as shown on the map mounted in your golf cart. • When you have completed your round, please hand in your score card at the Golf for Kids scorekeepers table which will be located just outside the Pro Shop.

Social and economic obstacles can prevent some young people from participating in organized sport. KidSport™ assists children overcome these financial barriers. KidSport™ identifies needs in the community, raises funds, and supports programs that, in keeping with the mission, create new opportunities for young people to participate in sport. KidSport™ believes its success is measured by the number of new sport opportunities created, by the number of children assisted to participate in sport through registration, equipment, programs or events. Funds will be directed towards programs that benefit children 18 years of age and younger, in the way of registration, equipment and program development.

Help Fill A Dream Foundation of Canada has granted1,700 dreams for children under the age of 19 with life threatening illnesses. Dreams range from trips to Disneyland, the most popular request, to purchasing computers to help with school work. The society also provides financial aid to families to ease the burden created by reduced incomes, medical expenses, and other drains on family resources. We do our best to fulfill the Dream that the child requests, as we feel the Dream provides a lasting memory and rewarding experience for all the family to share. The intention is to replace frustration and despair with hope, so essential to fighting disease and disability.
charities
Our goal is to arm every Canadian child with the WITS strategy. Walk away and tell an adult, Ignore and tell an adult, Talk it out and tell an adult, and Seek help, if they are confronted with an aggressive situation. Through the generosity of Canadian individuals and corporations, and in partnership with the Canadian Government, we endeavour to provide a violence prevention program to all Canadian children. Rock Solid Foundation guarantees that 100% of individual donations goes to the purchase of WITS school supplies. Rock Solid Foundation has a strict policy on aggressive fundraising techniques: no telemarketing, professional fundraising or door-to-door canvassing.
