Visit the website above for the Advisors – New Undergraduates list. Contact your academic advisor for assistance with
planning your schedule and confirming your course registration. Do not wait until the August 16th Orientation to register for
  classes.

 CURRICULUM INFORMATION Website: www.ncsu.edu/registrar/curricula/
Review the Eight Semester Display and the Degree Audit information for your major. These online resources will help you
determine which courses may be appropriate for the upcoming semester and will serve as the basis for your discussions with
    your academic advisor.

 COURSE ENROLLMENT VIA THE MYPACK PORTAL Website: www.ncsu.edu/registrar
Enroll in courses at NC State via the MyPack Portal. The MyPack Portal can be reached from the website listed above.
Course sections and available seat listings are found using the Enrollment section within the portal or through the online
Schedule of Courses at www.ncsu.edu/registrar/courses. For more information on enrollment, review the new student
    enrollment handout available at www.ncsu.edu/registrar/publications/pdf/undergradhandout.pdf.

 COMPUTER ACCOUNT AND UNITY ID Website: http://oit.ncsu.edu/
Your Unity account gives you access to numerous online resources available at NC State. To obtain your Unity ID, log in to
https://wolfpaw.ncsu.edu/ with your WolfPAW username and password. Your initial Unity ID password is the last four digits of
your ID number (found on the WolfPAW page) followed by the month and day of your birth (mmdd).
You need your Unity ID and password to access your email as well as online student services (e.g., e-billing, financial aid,
Registration and Records) available via MyPack Portal http://mypack.ncsu.edu. The first time you visit the Portal you will be
required to change your password from the default one. You may also wish to take a moment to setup your security
questions and answers so that future password resets, if needed, can be done over the phone by the Help Desk staff.
For answers to questions concerning your account, computing access, ResNet (networking for on-campus residents) and
other computing questions, visit http://oit.ncsu.edu. You may also contact the NC State Help Desk at help@ncsu.edu or call

You can give your parent or guardian online access to VIEW your financial (billing/payment) and academic information
(schedule/grades) through MyPack Portal. To grant access, go to Student Self Service>Campus Personal

Every Student Must…
 Complete the Medical History and Immunization Documentation Website: www.ncsu.edu/student_health/
Students must complete and submit the Medical History and Immunization information online at https://Healthweb.ncsu.edu.
Students also must submit verification of immunizations received, or provide official copies. For complete information, read
the content at the Student Health Services website: www.ncsu.edu/student_health/. Please note under North Carolina state
law, a student must be dropped from classes and a hold placed on future registration until immunization requirements are
met. There is a $150 fee to re-enroll. You may fax verification and official copies to the Immunization Office of Student Health
to 1.877.221.6278 OR mail to: Student Health Services, Attention Immunization Office, Campus Box 7304, Raleigh, NC
27695-7304. You may send scanned images of official records or submit questions to Immunizations@ncsu.edu. You may
contact the Immunization Office by calling 919.515.7233 or 919.513.4302. Watch your NC State e-mail for messages from
the Immunization Office and/or the Registrar.
Health Insurance 2010-11: Hard Waiver Process
A “hard waiver” student health insurance plan is effective with academic year 2010-2011 on all 16 UNC campuses. The
requirement is for undergraduates enrolled in 6+ credit hours and graduate students in 1+ credit hours who are in a degree-
seeking program and eligible to use the Student Health Services. "Hard waiver" means a student must show evidence of
existing creditable insurance coverage (coverage under another health plan), or enroll in the NCSU plan. The university plan,
administered by Pearce and Pearce insurance company, has a robust set of benefits at an affordable price. Students with
creditable health insurance will be able to waive out of the University plan easily and quickly on-line at
www.studentinsurance.com. Students who do not waive out and purchase the University sponsored plan will be billed each
semester, and the premium is included in the "cost of attendance" used for financial aid consideration.
The NC State student plan annual premium is $744 ($372 each semester). Some benefits in the student hard waiver plan
include 100% coverage of services at Student Health, $150 deductible, 20% coinsurance, an unlimited major medical
maximum, unlimited pharmacy maximum ($10 copay at Student Health and a four tier plan for other pharmacies), $500
wellness benefit, and a vision care plan . The premium is 38% lower than the least expensive plan in 2009. Spouse, child and
family coverage is available with base benefits. For students not eligible for the hard waiver plan there is a voluntary medical
insurance plan. A voluntary dental plan is available to all NCSU students. More information and FAQ at
   www.ncsu.edu/student_health.

 Access Your Tuition and Fees Information Website: www.fis.ncsu.edu/cashier
Tuition and fee statements are not mailed to students. You will receive an email notification at your Unity email address from
ebill@ncsu.edu when a new statement is posted to your account. The billing statement is accessed via MyPack Portal using
your Unity ID and password to login. Please note if you are registering during the Late Registration period, you may not
receive a billing statement. However, payment is due prior to the start of classes and you should review and pay the charges
on your student account at the time of registration.
Tuition and Fees must be paid by the date posted on your billing statement to avoid schedule cancellation. It is the
responsibility of each student to make full payment or complete financial aid information prior to the posted deadline. Only
approved Financial Aid awards, scholarships, and sponsorships will be noted on the account, and only amounts exceeding
the award must be paid to prevent schedule cancellation. Financial Aid must be accepted on the Scholarships and Financial
Aid website before it will post to your account. Visit the Cashier’s Office website at www.fis.ncsu.edu/cashier/ for payment
options. For additional information contact the University Cashier’s Office at 919.515.2986 or email
   studentaccounts@ncsu.edu.
If you decide not to attend NC State, you must notify Undergraduate Admissions in writing no later than the first day of
classes. You will be responsible for any charges on your account until an Official Withdrawal is completed.
