School Fruit Scheme – 4 options
1. Status quo – no new formalised EU involvement. 2. Networking – limited EU involvement based on existing framework (closest example: Commission external information activities). 3. Supporting initiatives – increased EU involvement based on existing EU legislation (closest example: current EU promotion programmes). 4. Driving initiatives – specific EU initiative (closest example: current School Milk Scheme).
Mixing of options is possible. Options presented separately because of “pedagogical” reasons.
