In this exercise, they are focusing
on using capital letters and ending
punctuation.

First graders have a lesson on using

Fifth grade students are working on a
webquest on Flight and the Wright
Brothers. Webquests and cyber hunts are
used often to develop comprehension and
research skills and proper use of the
internet.

This year, a Career project will be added to the computer program.
Students will take an online interest inventory, use internet resources
to find career information and develop brochures and flyers for career
reports and presentations.
More and more schools are producing a school or grade
level newspaper. These fifth graders are learning how
to use the digital camera. They take pictures of events
in the school and write articles about them for the
newspaper.
