In mid-19th century, as one of the human civilization, funeral home and cemetery was introduced to Shanghai. From then the era of modern China funeral service began. Today, for one common hope, that is let the world know China funeral industry and let China funeral industry go to the world, we re-united here. This Funeral EXPO is a great event for China funeral industry. It‘s a review for the current state and ability of China funeral industry. Also this EXPO will provide a good opportunity to exchange and learn each other for people inside or outside of funeral industry. Since then one hundred years has been past. Today, people in this trade come form all over the world meet again in Shanghai to join the third China International Funeral EXPO 2008 and there left a lot to make us to think about by the changing world. China funeral industry has a considerable scale in nowadays. There are more than 1500 funeral home, more than 1600 cemetery, more than 70000 people engaged in funeral industry. Today, Shanghai has become the largest economic center of China and one of the city with advanced science and culture. Shanghai is on the way toward the goal of international center of economic, financial, trade and shipping. The deepening of China‘s reform and opening up has brought the booming of China funeral industry. Promote the development of funeral equipment making and research. Trade and exchange of China funeral industry with other country has been increased each year. To further promote China's modern funeral industry and update the science and technology concepts. Based on the previous two successful China funeral EXPO, this EXPO will be organized by Shanghai Funeral Association. With the experience China funeral association and other local funeral association who will work together to take the full advantage of Shanghai‘s economic, cultural and geographical, to do their best to make this CIFE to be a successful one. (see no.3 traffic map) The EXPO is divide into A,B,C hall. Each A,B hall is 3400 square Meters, can accommodate 300 standard booth. Hall c is 2200 square meters, Can accommodate 69 standard booth.( see picture no.1 and no. 2 layout plans). The height of hall A and hall B is 7.5 meters. Can stand weight of 500kgs per square meter. Cargo elevator size is, Depth: 3.8 M, width: 2.4m height: 2m, which can stand weight of 4000kgs. Booth at raw floor: 800rmb per square meter (no less than 18 square meters). Each booth have one negotiations table, two chairs, two spot light, one power outlet, one company name board, offer free lunch for two staffs. If there are any additional leasing requirements, additional fee will be charged. Members of China funeral association can enjoy 20% discount. Standard booth: 9 square meters (3mx3m) 4800rmb per booth. Booth at raw floor: 640rmb per square meter (no less than 18 square meters). 8. Application procedure A. The exhibition welcomes all exhibitors especially exhibitors organized by each provinces, autonomous region‘s Funeral Association. Booth choice is made according to the exhibitors registered date. B. After the invitation of EXPO sending out, exhibitors can send application to book the booth, we will do our best to meet each participant‘s requirements in case main exhibitor‘s space is no problem. c. Exhibitors and participant should full fill The Third China International Funeral EXPO (CIFE) 2008 exhibitor registration form (see form 1) or The Third China International Funeral EXPO CIFE) 2008 delegation registration form see form2). These form should have authorized sign and chopped by exhibitors. Forms can be sent to working committee by post mail, fax or e-mail. d. After receiving these forms, CIFE organize committee will contact with exhibitors and send them ‗booth confirmation for The Third China International Funeral EXPO (CIFE) 2008‘ f. For delegation exhibitors, 50% booth booking fee must be remitted to the account given by organize committee, in 10 working days after receiving ‗booth confirmation‖, rest of the fee must be paid before the end of Feb. 2008. Otherwise will be treated as give up participation, and booth booking fee will not be refunded. For general exhibitors prepaid booth booking fee must made in 7 working days after receiving ‗booth confirmation‖. Payment of the rest fee is made as above.
