Sexual Offenders/Predators and Proximity to Bus Stops- Provides that it is unlawful for persons who have been convicted of specified sexual offenses against a victim under the age of 18 to reside within 2,500 feet of any school, public school bus stop, day care center, park, playground, or other place where children regularly congregate and prohibits school districts from establishing or relocating school bus stops within that distance under specified circumstances. Sponsored Installation of 3-point Belts in School Buses (Diana Kautz Student Safety Sponsors Act)- Provides authority for school boards to adopt policies allowing private sponsors to pay for installation of 3-point lap/shoulder belts in school buses; allows for placement of markings on the exterior containing name and logo of sponsor; contains various other implementing provisions. School Bus Stops Review- Requires Florida Department of Education (FDOE) to assess safety annually at school bus stops in Florida; requires districts to submit annual report to FDOE that includes a plan to improve safety at school bus stops; provides that FDOE shall adopt rules. Conditional Releasees- Specifies that after October 1, 2008 residences of specified conditional releasees (persons formerly in prison for certain crimes relating to sexual offenses against children) may not be approved within 1,500 feet of a designated school bus stop by the Department of Corrections (DOC) or the Parole Commission. Energy- Provides that a minimum of 20 percent of total diesel fuel purchases for use by school districts shall be biodiesel fuel (B20), subject to availability. Requires that contracts for transportation provided by other governmental entities or private providers, entered into starting July 1, 2008, include this requirement. H.
