                   Middle Tennessee Basketball Showcases
                                     Open for boys and girls teams
                                      Competing 9U through 16U
           Kris Hooper is proud to announce the 2009 spring schedule for basketball tournaments to be played in
           various locations within the Middle Tennessee area. All tournaments are open to boys and girls
           basketball teams competing in age’s 9-under through 16-under. All tournaments guarantee teams a 3
           game minimum with pool play and a single game elimination tournament.

           All tournaments that open to any team (AAU, YOBA, schools sponsored etc) and are guaranteed three
           game minimum. Games will consist of two (2) twenty minute running clock halves. The clock will only
           stop for team called timeouts and during the last minute of each half for all deadballs. Games will be
           played by TSSAA rules.

           The age determining criteria for each tournament will be the age of competing player on September 1,
           2009 for boys and 2009 AAU guidelines girls. Each boys team will be allowed a maximum of three (3)
           grade exemptions. This means that a child may compete in an age group lower than they only if they are
           in the corresponding grade.

             The boys grade exemptions for each age division is as follows:
                                                9U- 3rd grade     13U- 7th grade
                                                10U- 4th grade    14U- 8th grade
                                                11U- 5th grade    15U- 9th grade
                                               12U- 6th grade    16U- 10th grade
