2006-2008 PG&E NATE Certification Initiative
The 2006-2008 PG&E NATE Certification Initiative is designed to reward HVAC
Technicians and contractors who successfully completed the associated industry training
and passed the Core and Specialty NATE certification examinations, as well as the
HVAC Efficiency Analyst certification examination. Technicians who apply for this
incentive must work in the PG&E service territory to participate. Incentives are:
• Core and a Specialty Exam - $150
• Specialty Exam - $100
• HVAC Efficiency Analyst Exam - $250

PG&E’s ETC is an American Institute of Architects (AIA) Continuing Education System
Registered Provider. Sign-up sheets are provided at qualifying events and learning units

Go Green! ETC Classes Qualify for Build It Green™ Continuing Education
Credits (CEUs) –Individuals who have been certified by Build It Green™ as a Certified
Green Building Professional (CGBP) or GreenPoint Rater can earn CEUs toward
recertification by attending any of PG&E’s residential classes, including multifamily.
This applies to classes for new and/or existing homes, and regardless of class location.

Full-day classes qualify for 6.0 and half-day classes qualify for 3.0 credit hours. To
receive credit, ask PG&E’s Energy Training Center (ETC) for a certificate of attendance,
then submit it to Build It Green™. For information about Build It Green™ requirements
for certification or recertification, visit the “Professional Training” section of their Web
site at http://www.builditgreen.org.

Tool Lending Library:
Don’t miss this golden opportunity to get started in the duct testing and sealing business!
The Energy Training Center – Stockton’s Tool Lending Library will loan you a duct
pressurization tester free of charge for up to one month if you have attended one of our
hands-on duct testing classes (Overview of ACCA Quality Installation Standards
Overview, Title 24 Duct Installation Standards and Diagnostic Testing, or Title 24
HVAC System Change-Outs). Carbon Monoxide testing kits are also available. Blower
Doors are available on a limited basis. Please call 800-244-9912 to arrange a loan.
